Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Interstate / West Coast Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently across designated interstate and long-distance routes. This role involves ensuring timely departures and arrivals, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, and delivering a comfortable travel experience for passengers.
The successful candidate will uphold company safety standards, comply with traffic regulations, support smooth transport operations, and contribute to excellent customer satisfaction throughout each journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers across interstate and long-distance routes in compliance with traffic and safety regulations
- Ensure timely departures and arrivals while maintaining assigned travel schedules
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage handling, and travel-related inquiries where necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the vehicle at all times
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays, or operational issues promptly to management
- Ensure accurate trip documentation, passenger records, and fuel usage reporting where required
- Work closely with terminal staff and operations teams to ensure smooth trip coordination
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism throughout each journey
Requirements
- Previous experience as an interstate, long-distance, or commercial driver
- Valid driver’s license with good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage long-distance trips and maintain punctual travel schedules
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle travel or passenger-related issues calmly
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with terminal and operations teams
- Experience in transport, logistics, mobility, or passenger service operations
