Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Ticketer to manage ticket issuance, passenger bookings, and payment processing at the terminal. This role ensures that all customers are attended to promptly, tickets are issued accurately, and all transactions are properly recorded.

The successful candidate will support smooth daily operations at the ticketing point, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain accuracy in all ticketing and booking processes.


Key Responsibilities

  •   Issue tickets accurately to passengers based on routes, schedules, and fare structure
  •  Handle ticket sales and payment processing (cash, transfer, POS where applicable)
  • Ensure all passenger bookings are properly recorded and documented
  •  Provide clear information to passengers regarding travel schedules, fares, and availability
  • Assist passengers with boarding procedures and ticket validation at the terminal
  • Maintain daily sales and transaction records for accountability and reporting

  • Resolve minor ticketing issues and escalate complex cases to the terminal supervisor

  • Ensure a smooth flow of passengers at the ticketing point to avoid delays and congestion

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly ticketing environment

  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure passengers have a positive experience at the terminal


Requirements

  • Previous experience in ticketing, customer service, cashiering, or front desk operations
  • Strong customer service and communication Skills
  • Ability to handle payments and issue tickets accurately with attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills in passenger inquiries and minor complains 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced terminal environment and manage queues effectively
  • Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and reliability in handling cash and records
  • Basic computer or POS system knowledge 
  • Experience in transport, logistics, or mobility service.
