Junior Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and technically inclined Junior Technician to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles in an auto service center. This role involves assisting in diagnosing basic vehicle faults, carrying out routine servicing, and ensuring all vehicles are repaired to standard safety and performance levels.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior technicians, follow repair procedures, and ensure proper servicing of customer vehicles. The role requires willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality workmanship and vehicle safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in routine inspection, servicing, and repair of customer vehicles
- Support senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire servicing
- Ensure all vehicles are properly handled and maintained according to workshop standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition
- Follow technical instructions and workshop procedures accurately
- Report faults, repairs needed, and job progress to senior technicians
- Ensure safety standards and proper handling of vehicles at all times
- Learn and improve technical skills through hands-on workshop experience
- Deliver quality workmanship to support customer satisfaction and service excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, or workshop assistance
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems (mechanical or electrical) is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fault detection and repairs
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with senior technicians and team members
- Strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and willingness to follow technical instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to safety standards, quality workmanship, and continuous learning
- Previous experience in an auto service center or similar technical environment.
